How to Play Bonoloto, Info, Rules, Guides

Bonoloto is a Spanish lottery that has grown substantially over the years and has become a well-established game. The first draw took place on February 28, 1988 and since then the draws have taken place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 19:00. This game is morally driven, with 45 %% of sales going to profits, while the rest goes to corporate social responsibility such as health care and culture promotion. When you buy lottery tickets online, select 6 numbers from 1-49 to join the jackpot hunt.

The Bonolotto draws occur Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30pm Spanish time. That means that there is only one weeknight where you can’t be a lucky winner! Buy your tickets online at LWG up to 6:30pm on the night of any of the draws.

How to play Bonoloto?

The rules are easy. Just pick 6 numbers from 49 and you’re on your way to being part of the winnings. To win the Jackpot, all 6 numbers must match up to the ones chosen in the particular draw. During the draw, the lottery officials choose a supplementary number, called a complementario, which is relevant to 2nd tier prize winners only. A random number, called a reintegro is added to each ticket. This number is relevant to 6th tier winners.

Playing Bonoloto is a wonderful experience that creates unforgettable class='payout' memories, especially if you are playing for the first time. The lottery has a matrix of 6/49, which means that if a player matches the 6 numbers, they win the jackpot. During the draw, a unique bonus number is revealed called Complimentario. This number determines the secondary prices. If you manage to match the 5 main numbers and the Complimentario number, you win the second prize.

BonoLotto History

BonoLoto was first drawn in February 1988 and has grown in popularity since. Now, BonoLoto is held on a daily base from Monday to Saturday nights. In 1991, the refund was introduced (Reintegro) by which if a player matched only the bonus ball number, the price of the ticket was refunded.

In BonoLoto 55% of the income is allocated to prizes. Jackpot starts at €400,000 and rolls over until the Jackpot will be won. Prizes are paid in a single cash payment. The largest BonoLoto jackpot of €7,000,000 was won in 1990 by a single winner.

Bono Lotto had its biggest jackpot in 1990. A single player took home a huge €7 million! Bono Lotto has never had such a big win since. The largest group to win Bono Lotto was a group of 94 people who won €34,000 each from a jackpot of over €3.2 million!

Bonolotto Info

Frequent Draws: BonoLoto holds draws from Monday to Saturday—giving you 6 chances to win per week!

Easy to Play: BonoLoto is based on the classic 6/49 lotto mechanic, so it should be fairly straightforward. That said, the game also has a few unique tricks up its sleeve—such as the Complementario and Reintegro numbers (more on these later).

Sizable Minimum Jackpot: BonoLoto jackpots start off at a minimum of €400,000.

Rollovers: If no one wins a drawing, the jackpot simply rolls over and is added on top of the next drawing’s prize fund until someone wins it.

Lump Sum Payouts: All BonoLoto prizes are paid out in lump sum form.

Taxable: Around 20% government tax is withheld from prizes over €2,500.

Where to play Bonoloto online?

Bonoloto is just like the majority of the reliable ones available on a variety of platforms. Players can buy Bonoloto tickets online at sites. On the lottery's own page you can buy tickets for 50 SEK each. The process is generally quite simple with almost no obstacles when processing the payment. If you would like to bet on Bonoloto while on the go, you can log in to the page whenever you want through your phone or table class='payout't.

The tickets are available in two different versions. The first is a common one where you choose your numbers. The other option is exciting and is called Reintegro. Here buys plays tickets that have ready numbers. Interestingly, you get your money back if none of your numbers are drawn, if you chose the Reintegro option.

Playing Tips & Tricks:

The best way to increase your odds is to buy group game tickets. It’s pure logic & math. When you buy group game tickets you essentially ‘pool together’ your tickets and therefore up your odds immensely.

For example: If you wanted to buy a single ticket for a Bonno Loto draw the lines will cost you more. With a group game option you buy shares in a group of tickets online. 50 tickets could make up one group (groups can be anywhere from 30-100 tickets grouped together). This group of 50 tickets is then split into 100 shares and each share can be sold separately, this way the player can buy a share in a group of 50 tickets for a prices much cheaper, as little as $0.16 per ticket. If one of the group’s ticket is a winner then the winning amount will be split according to how many shares you have in the group.

So, if we have a group of 50 tickets, split into 100 shares and you buy 10 shares in the group, you own 10% of the group of 50 tickets. This means if the group of tickets has a winner in it, say $100,000.00, you would receive 10% of this total, meaning you would win $10,000.00.

With LWG, you can benefit from some good advice when it comes to choosing the Bonolotto numbers that could change your life. First of all, many people think that choosing special family dates for their numbers will bring Lady Luck to their doorstep. Unfortunately, there are no statistics proving that using birthdays and anniversaries as your numbers will win you the Bonolotto. What is statistically proven though, is that your chances do increase when you click on QUICK PICK ALL, and let the computer randomly choose your numbers for you. Entering in more draws of course increases your chances. Entering 100 draws gives you 99% chance of winning a prize.

Play Bonoloto and become a historic winner

Bonoloto is known for having created thousands of winners in their draws. The lottery has a minimum jackpot of just over SEK 4 million which grows until someone wins it. It was launched in February 1988 by La Loteria Nacional where the goal was to provide a dynamic lottery with more draws per week. So far, it has grown substantially and has a jackpot record of just over SEK 70 million, which was distributed only two years after it was launched. Many of the proceeds go back to society in the form of social investments.

While there is a 1 in 10 chance of winning a prize in Bonolotto’s 6 tier prize breakdown, there is a big difference between winning the 1st and 6th tier. 1 in 10 people who buy a ticket will win the 6th tier, which requires players to match the reintegro number only. The 1st, jackpot, tier is one by one person in 13,983,816. To win the jackpot, match all 6 numbers correctly to the ones drawn on the night. It’s a long shot, but someone has to take the money home, or it is rolled over to increase the jackpot in the next draw when there are no winners. The 2nd tier is won by matching 5 balls plus the complementario number, and players have a 1 in 2,330,636 chance of winning it. Players have a 1 in 54,201 chance of winning the 3rd tier, which requires matching 5 balls. Matching 4 balls gives 1 in 1032 players a win in the 4th tier, and the 5th tier is won by 1 in 57 people who match three balls out of six.

What Happens if You Win?

If you win prizes below €600, you can collect your winnings at any official lottery retailer. Meanwhile, if your winnings go beyond €600, you must collect your prize at any Loteria Nacional branch in Spain. Take note that winnings over €2,500 are taxable—with 20% withheld as per a new law passed in 2013.

Of course, if you played BonoLoto using an online lottery site—which most likely means you are living in another country—then prize collection methods may vary. Some sites will immediately deposit winnings below a certain prize threshold to your account, for example. Also, take note that if you did play BonoLoto from another country, your local tax laws may also come into play.

Taxes

Lottery prizes are subject to taxation at source. There are two tax bands. Tax Band 1: Tax-free up to €2,500. Tax Band 2: Any portion of the prize exceeding €2,500 is subject to a tax rate of 20%. Check the tax laws in your country of residence for any further local taxation you may be subject to.
