Alex said “I just stared at the screen, reading every letter and number, over and over, to make sure it was true. I shook like a leaf. ”But Alex wasn't convinced, he asked his parents who even checked the correct numbers. After that he went to the store where he bought the lottery where they confirmed that he had won. Alex describes the experience as "the best feeling ever". Family from Wales - Winner of SEK 650 million at EuroMillions

When Stephanie Davies of Monmouth, Wales, left her home late Friday night, she could never imagine her becoming the next jackpot winner. It was her mother, Sonia, who asked her to go and buy the lottery. Stephanie reluctantly did what her mother asked her to do, even though she was vacationing in Florida with her boyfriend, Keith Reynolds. Stephanie said, "I thought Mom was angry when she called me so I felt I had to do it." Sonia was in the US to see Keith's daughter graduate, when she also had to undergo surgery after being diagnosed with a tumor on her parathyroid gland. Sonia had also been told that she would lose her voice within a year of the surgery, fortunately everything went well after the surgery. Due to the operation and the fact that Sonia stayed at the hospital Stephanie decided to buy 6 tickets for the draw on Friday July 29, 2016, but she did not check the tickets until Sunday morning. To her surprise, she realized that she had matched all the numbers on the draw and won the big jackpot of around SEK 720 million.

Bev Doran, 37, from Shipley, West Yorkshire, received an email saying she would check her lottery account. She said “I had barely woken up when I logged into my account. I could see that I had won the jackpot but I could not understand that I had won, it took a long time for it to sink in. I jumped out of bed and ran into my oldest son's bedroom. He slept but I screamed "I've won the jackpot, I'm a millionaire". Now she has bought a 5 bedroom house and become debt free. Her children are still in the same school as before so they can spend time with their friends.
